The FST Writing and Study Consultation Drop-ins are run by Robert Blake, the FST Student Learning Advisor.  In these drop-ins FST students can:

•     Bring questions about study and academic writing in the sciences and technology
•     Bring excerpts from assignments and dissertations for diagnostic feedback (please note that it is not possible to proof read complete assignments and dissertations)
•     Discuss exam revision, time management and academic reading.

If you want to discuss a current assignment, please bring a printed copy with you.  

If you are unable to attend any of the consultations available due to timetable clashes, please email fststudyadvice@lancaster.ac.uk to check whether an alternative time can be found.

Drop-in consultation slots can become very busy, particularly towards the end of term.  It's advisable to plan ahead if you know there is an issue you wish to discuss.
