This interactive workshop is aimed at researchers, particularly in the social sciences and health, who are interested in going beyond published academic literature for their literature review.

This course will introduce you to:

 What grey literature is

  • Why you might use it
  • Issues to consider
  • Useful sources of grey literature
  • Ways to evaluate what you find

By the end of this course you should be able to:

  • Distinguish what constitutes grey literature
  • Identify the benefits and challenges of finding and using grey literature
  • Interrogate one or more sources of grey literature
  • Appraise a piece of grey literature
