This interactive workshop is aimed at academic staff and postgraduate students who teach.

This course will introduce you to a range of Library resources and services such as:

  • The New OneSearch interface
  • Specialist databases
  • News and media resources
  • Subject Guides
  • Resource Lists
  • Digitisation service
  • Accessing new resources     

By the end of this course you should be able to:

  • Identify the most appropriate Library resources and services to support your teaching
  • Use those resources and services to effectively support your teaching
  • Explain the benefits of using and accessing library resources to your students
  • Understand the difference between Library services for teachers and library resources for students

Course pre-requisites:
Attendees must be teaching at the University or preparing to teach
