Using Library resources in your teaching

This interactive workshop is aimed at academic staff and postgraduate students who teach.
This course will introduce you to a range of Library resources and services such as:
- The New OneSearch interface
- Specialist databases
- News and media resources
- Subject Guides
- Resource Lists
- Digitisation service
- Accessing new resources
By the end of this course you should be able to:
- Identify the most appropriate Library resources and services to support your teaching
- Use those resources and services to effectively support your teaching
- Explain the benefits of using and accessing library resources to your students
- Understand the difference between Library services for teachers and library resources for students
Course pre-requisites:
Attendees must be teaching at the University or preparing to teach
