In recent years, the amount of IP, research and enterprise contracts in universities has grown rapidly.   This is primarily due to the fact that research is becoming intensively complex.  Creating and managing these (sometimes complex) collaborative relationships between organisations can often prove challenging and frustrating; managing relationships, IP and outcomes to achieve an efficient contract.

  • Significance of IP rights
  • Awareness of the common pitfalls of interpretation of contracts
  • Understand the difference between risk aversion and risk awareness and how to manage risk sensibly
