Lancaster University Library Festival - An Evening of Music and Conversation
Event box
Join us in the library on Friday 10th September, 6:00-8:30pm, for an evening of music and conversation, part of our Library Festival.
Hosted by Professor Simon Guy, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Global, Digital and Sustainability, our Friday evening headline event will entertain and inspire you!
Simon will be joined by Anna Cockman (Head of Estate Development, project delivery), Professor Jo Knight (Chair in Applied Data Science), Professor Jess Davies (Professor of Sustainability) and Professor Paty Murrieta-Flores (Department of History). You can expect an evening of lively conversation across a range of themes from sustainability to data science, from eco-innovation to the digital humanities. Our guests will share some of their projects and partnerships, including how the University is involved in Eden Project North.
It promises to be a great evening with live music performances from Leah Silva, Nina Jones and Alice Ashcroft.
You are registering to attend the event in person at Lancaster University Library. The event will be live streamed to YouTube and camera shots may include views of audience members. Further guidance for joining the event will be emailed to you two days prior to the event.
