Lancaster University Library Extension Opening Event
Event box
Join us in the library on Friday 10th September, 4:00-5:00pm, to celebrate the opening of our new library extension, part of our Library Festival.
Completed in April 2021, the building has been extended across all three floors of the library. It significantly increases study space for library users and includes exciting new spaces to support learning, research, engagement activities, events and exhibitions.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Andy Schofield will officially open the library extension and you will hear about our ambitious plans for the space.
Following the presentations there will be an opportunity to explore the library and view the festival exhibitions.
This is a hybrid event with in person and online participants. You are registering to attend the event in person at Lancaster University Library. Further guidance for joining the event will be emailed to you two days prior to the event.
The data we collect when you register will be used in relation to managing and evaluating this event. Data is collected and used in accordance with Lancaster University's events privacy policy.
