Neurospicy Libraries - Academic Libraries North EDI Innovation
Event box
Neurospicy Libraries is a new project, funded by Academic Libraries North, to advocate for and support neurodivergent talent in academic libraries
Lead by Joanne Fitzpatrick (Lancaster University) and Andy Walsh (Huddersfield University), we have made the decision to step up and allow those that do not want to disclose a chance to get their voices and experiences heard, with the main aim of having more neurodivergent librarians hired, promoted or having their working life switched from near impossible to manageable, and allowing academic library teams to access a hidden pool of talent.
This short webinar will allow you to see and hear us introducing our plans to incubate a network that will be launched towards the end of the project, and is open to neurodiverse librarians and allies.
