The Students' Union, in collaboration with the University's Wellbeing Service, is delighted to be once again working with WomensAid to offer Reach Respect workshops to students and student leaders.
Reach Respect aims to foster a respectful, inclusive, and supportive campus environment by promoting awareness, empathy, and positive communication.

In recent research, it was found that Relationship, Sex and Health Education is still limited, with 35% of 18-25-year-olds recalling no education about coercive and controlling behaviours throughout school. (Women's Aid, 2023) https://www.womensaid.org.uk/influencers-and-attitudes-report/
The training seeks to understand the extent of domestic abuse, underlying trends, and causes, and how to identify, respond to, and support survivors of abuse.
