This hybrid (in-person and online) event is a themed strategy session focusing on Sustainability, led by Simon Guy, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Global (Digital, International, Sustainability).

As Lancaster begins to define a distinctive vision for 2032, University leaders are inviting staff to engage in a series of strategy sessions. Taking place throughout June and July, these sessions form the first phase of the process and provide an opportunity for staff to help shape future direction. 

Themed strategy sessions 

Staff are invited to take part in themed strategy sessions led by members of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). These 90-minute sessions will introduce key strategic priorities and offer opportunities to ask questions, share perspectives, and contribute ideas. 

There will be 13 sessions in total, each focused on a specific theme: Colleges; Digital; Education; Equality, Diversity and Inclusion; Engagement; Estates and Campuses; Financial Sustainability; Global; Research and Enterprise; Student Experience; Sustainability; Widening Access and Student Recruitment; and Working at Lancaster. 

Sessions can be joined both in-person and online to support wide participation.
