Your PhD: The final stages
Event box
Are you a final year researcher? Our one-day course focuses on topics you are likely to be considering at this stage of your PhD.
17 April 2018 10.30am – 2.45pm
The first morning session will introduce you to journal publishing options for your research paper and strategies to help you to decide where to publish, including open access publishing.
Are you concerned about your research data? Are you required to archive and publish data? What happens to your data on University drives and on Box? These questions will be considered in the second morning session.
Just before lunch Academic Liaison Librarians will show you how to make the most of your Library by maximising your use of resources and offering follow-up bookable appointments.
Lunch will be provided.
The afternoon session will guide you through the process of depositing your thesis, and will be a chance to discuss how to deal with copyright and considering an embargo on your thesis.
Please join us for what promises to be an interesting and informative day.
