FST Maths Boot Camp is offering two workshops on statistics.

Workshop 1 INTRODUCTION TO STATISTICAL INFERENCE (basic level)
This will be a hands on workshop aimed to make you comfortable with basic hypothesis testing and simple statistical inference

• Descriptive Statistics - Central tendency, variability, z-scores – What do these statistics tell us?
   
• Introduction to Hypothesis Testing  - The z-test, t-test, ANOVA test - What can we say about the population as a whole given our observed data?

Workshop 2 UNDERSTANDING ANOVA

This workshop will look at one way ANOVA, factorial ANOVA, repeated measures ANOVA - different scenarios and interpretation of the results.

Please bring a calculator with you.
