This workshop will introduce you to Endnote X9, also known as EndNote desktop.  We recommend this version of EndNote for staff and research postgraduates.  There is some preparatory work to be completed in advance of the session which will be shared with you in advance, and should take between 1 - 2 hours to complete.

By the end of this workshop you will be able use EndNote X9 to:

  • Create your own Endnote Library

  • Add and organise references in your Library

  • Insert citations into MS Word in your chosen style

  • Know where to find help using Endnote

Pre-requisites:

Knowledge of the referencing process and familiarity with electronic journal services or journal article databases (e.g. Web of Science, Ebsco databases, Pubmed, JSTOR, OneSearch etc) is useful.
