In this session students will be encouraged to think about how they manage and organise information for their research and consider a range of method, tools and techniques to help that process. 

By the end of this session students/researchers should be able to: 

  • Consider and reflect on how information is created and organised 

  • Choose the most appropriate methods, techniques or tools to solve their unique organisational problems 

  • Manage their citations, references and bibliographies effectively  

  • Adopt appropriate data handling methods 

  • Plan, name and organise information in a way that helps retrieve what is needed
