Climate change: what can we do now?
Event box
An evening of discussion with experts from Prof Mike Berners-Lee's Small World Consulting, exploring the systemic changes we need to make as a society, as well as the actions we can take as individuals, in the fight against climate change. Arranged in collaboration with Lunesdale Rotary Club.
“How can I help to create the conditions under which the world that I want to see becomes possible?” Professor Mike Berners-Lee asked in his book There is No Planet B: A Handbook for the Make or Break Years. Now many of us are asking the same question.
In this evening of brief presentations and extensive discussion, members of Mike’s Small World Consulting team will lead us in an exploration of the many possible answers.
Booking is essential for this COP26 at Lancaster Festival event, hosted by Lunesdale Rotary Club in collaboration with Lancaster Environment Centre. The venue for the evening is the Parkinson Suite, Hornby Village Institute, Main Street, Hornby, Lancashire LA2 8JR. Refreshments will be available to purchase from the venue's bar.
Small World Consulting was founded in 2002 by Lancaster Environment Centre's Mike Berners-Lee. Small World Consulting exists as a response to our climate and ecological emergency. We push for systemic change in three main ways: research, communication and helping organisations lead change.
