Tuesday 22 February at 7.30pm in the Chaplaincy Centre Central Lounge. Faithshare is our longstanding termly interfaith meeting between the members of our different faith traditions in the University, or none, for informal conversation, sharing and dialogue, so we can share our experience and wisdom in an open and supportive environment.

This topic offers us an opportunity to reflect together on what we are actually doing, or not doing, when we meet to share our faith perspective. Do we expect just to learn interesting things, to witness to our faith, or also to be receptive to re-evaluating aspects of our own beliefs? What does it mean to be open to each other?  Do we feel we are somehow being unfaithful when we engage closely with other faiths, or is it a sign of confidence in what we believe?  Do we view our faith as allowing, encouraging, or discouraging this? What part does truth play in these conversations?

Please approach this topic in any way you wish: the above examples are just suggestions.

Please let your friends and members of your faith tradition or society know of the meeting, and do invite them to come along to join in, to chat, or to listen. We hope you will be able to come.
