In this session researchers will learn about advanced search concepts such as search strings, snowballing, and citation searches and use these techniques across a range of information resources and databases.

By the end of this session students/researchers should be able to: 

  • Create and combine search strings to carry out   

  • Describe and define some search strategies that complements their research 

  • Use a range of different search strategies to satisfy different information needs 

  • Apply searches in resouces
