How do we use notebooks to encourage wellbeing?
This interactive session will explore how the early nineteenth-century chemist, Sir Humphry Davy, used his notebooks to write poetry, reflect on his life, make lists, and write up his scientific experiments. Taking his writing practice as a starting point, we shall also investigate how writing in a notebook, or journaling, might encourage feelings of wellbeing. The session will include guided writing exercises and the opportunity to reflect on the benefits of daily writing.
