'How not to fail your research project' is a fun and interactive game which utilises LEGO® to help attendees explore the importance of recording their research data correctly and ensuring their research is reproducible.

Attendees will be asked to work in groups to create a Lego model and document this process so that another team can reproduce this model.

The game draws multiple parallels between recording and communicating the research process and documenting the creation of these models. By attending you will learn the importance of how metadata is captured, recorded and disseminated, as well as the resources available in the Library to assist during research projects.

This session is open to all Lancaster University staff and students.

This event is hosted by the Lancaster University Library Open Research Team as part of Open Access week 2022.
