Common searching errors in student systematic review dissertations. Searching to inform systematic reviews can be a daunting and difficult task for the student reviewer. This presentation will highlight some of the common searching errors found in student dissertations. This presentation will enable academic librarians to better anticipate student requests for help and provide students with support for systematic review searches. Dr Michelle Maden is a post-doctoral researcher in Evidence Synthesis in the Liverpool Reviews and Implementation Group at the University of Liverpool and is an Associate Tutor in Evidence Synthesis at Edge Hill University. As a qualified information specialist with over 20 years of supporting postgraduate students undertaking systematic reviews, Michelle is in a unique position to provide an analysis of the common searching errors found in student dissertations.
