There are 2 exhibitions taking place in the Stairwell of the library to celebrate Disability History Month.

The History of Unique Kidz and Co. is being curated by the adults that attend 4Ever Unique.  Unique Kidz and Co. is an after school and holiday club for children with disabilities.  4Ever Unique provides similar facilities for young adults.  Details about their work can be found here. 

Dan Mancina is a skateboarder who has overcome the challenge of becoming blind but continuing the sport he loves.  The exhibition will display one of his skateboards which has a braille description on.   There will also be displays of activities people participate in to prmote their health and wellbeing as disabled people.
