Patterns of alcohol consumption in older adults – evidence from the English Longitudinal Study of Ageing
Dr Tom Mason, Senior Lecturer in Health Economics, Division of Health Research, Lancaster University
My research is focused on the application of econometric methods to answer causal questions relating to either policy or the predictions of economic theory. I am interested in health behaviours - especially addictive behaviours. I am also interested in the impact of population ageing, chronic diseases such as type 2 diabetes and the use of incentives in public policy.
