Lancaster University Wind Turbine Guided Tour

Find out how the University wind turbine works, how it was built, and provides power to the University on a guided visit to the turbine at Hazelrigg Field Station.
The tour will cover how the wind turbine and planned solar PV farm at Forrest Hills that will help the University decarbonise its power and heating and meet its challenging carbon reduction targets.
LOCATION: Meet Jonathan Mills, Environment Manager in University House reception at 13:00 on Wednesday 8th February. Coach transport will be provided for the return journey to the Wind Turbine at Hazelrigg. Travel to and from the Hazelrigg and the site visit will take 1 hour. This is an external tour so please wear appropriate clothing for the weather!
