Lancaster University invites its academic staff to a unique information session to learn more about the UK Academic Fulbright Scholarship programme, designed to enhance professional growth and international collaboration.

Are you an academic at Lancaster University with a passion for global research and cultural exchange? Then, the Fulbright UK Scholar Programme may be your ticket to an enriching academic experience in the United States for part of the 2024/25 academic year.

At our upcoming Fulbright Information session, taking place on October 12th at 2:00 PM, you'll have the chance to delve into the Fulbright UK Scholar Programme, which enables research, teaching, and study opportunities at some of the world's leading universities. Deadline for the 2024/25 UK Scholar Programme closes on 6th November 2023.

Here's what you can expect at the workshop:

Introduction to the Fulbright UK Scholar Programme: A representative from the US/UK Fulbright Commission will provide valuable insights into the program and guide you through the application process.

Real-Life Experience: Dr. Gavin Brookes, a Lancaster academic and recipient of the prestigious Fulbright All Disciplines Award, will share his journey and experiences as a Fulbright scholar applicant. Dr. Brookes will soon embark on his research journey at Northern Arizona University for the 2023/24 academic year, focusing on how the media communicates about dementia.

Q&A Session: Have questions about the Fulbright programme or the application process? Get answers from our experts during the Q&A session.
