Research collaboration & engagement with China
Event box
Context:
The academic community of Lancaster University is well connected with China or China-relevant research activities. This can be proven by the increasing number of Lancaster University China Centre members and early career researchers based in the Weihai campus. This event will bring together the knowledge base in such a community and explore opportunities and pathways for developing research opportunities and acquiring research collaboration funding from China or with Chinese partners.
Activities
We will invite researchers with current or previously funded research projects supported by funders or partners from China to share their experiences. We will also bring together early and mid-career LU researchers for brainstorming sessions.
Participants
We have 30 seats available. Any researchers, including faculty members, postdocs and last-year PhD students, are encouraged to apply. Priorities will be given to those who have never worked with China-relevant funding or researchers but have a strong interest in doing so.
The event will be hosted in: Infolab C60. Refreshments and lunch will be provided.
The specific agenda will be disclosed soon - please stay tuned.
This workshop is organized by LUCC and Lancaster University Global Engagement Team. We especially appreciate the funding support from Lancaster University Confucious Institute.
