[Hybrid] Moodle Part 1 - Introduction for Staff

A 30-minute introductory session looking at Moodle, which is Lancaster University’s Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). This session covers what Moodle is, what it does, and how staff can access and interact with it. This session is a hybrid one and staff are welcome to join online or in-person in Library Training Room 1
Outcomes:
At the end of this session you will be able to:
- Describe what Moodle is and does
- Access and navigate Moodle spaces
- Set up a Moodle space and add content
- Know where to find help/advice
Suitable For:

New members of staff who use Moodle in their work. This includes academic staff in their teaching and professional services staff in administrative roles.

Members of staff who have had a recent change of role and may have an increased need to use Moodle.

There's no need to attend all parts of the Moodle training series, please choose the sessions most relevant to you. If you already have experience of using Moodle we'd recommend starting at Part 3.
