[In Person] Moodle Part 3 - Moodle Feature Showcase
Event box
Description:
This 60-minute in-person session will explore some of the more "advanced" features of Moodle. We'll look at underused activities, including the Moodle Board, a Padlet-like activity that's great for brainstorming and sorting. The collaborative map is an excellent ice-breaker activity that lets students add points of interest to a map. The student quiz activity allows students to develop their own quiz questions to show their understanding of a topic. We'll also explore how you can track student progress in your course and create personalised learning journeys using activity completion tracking and activity restriction.
This session takes place in-person in Library Training Room 1
Outcomes:
At the end of this session, you will:
- Be aware of some new Moodle activities.
- Understand how Moodle reports work.
- Know how to use activity completion and restrict access.
- Be mindful of methods to create personalised paths through your course.
Suitable For:
-
