The Lancaster University Africa Research Hub is delighted to announce that you can register to attend the much-awaited launch event of the Hub. The Inaugural Event will take place on Thursday, 9th May 2024 (9:30am-1:30pm,George Fox LT5). You can also join online if you`re unable to attend in person.
The LU Africa Research Hub is a cross-disciplinary research network made up of academics with interest, research or otherwise, in the continent of Africa. As well as its goals in research, engagement, education, and sustainable development, the Hub will provide a platform for ongoing knowledge sharing and exchange activities, underpinned by strategic partnerships. The aim of the hub is to foster an environment for enabling collaborative work between colleagues at Lancaster and African scholars and institutions.
This event offers an opportunity for networking, to share your work with colleagues, and provides a platform for discussion. This will be followed by lunch.
