New first year undergraduate students commencing studies in October 2024, and who will be commuting to campus, are invited to attend this welcome event taking place on 25 September,10.30am - 2pm. 

This welcome event will provide:

• An introduction to college life and how the collegiate system at Lancaster can support your journey
• A campus tour so you can familiarise yourself with key locations before Welcome Week
• A visit to your allocated college, explore college spaces and see what additional facilities are available to you as a commuter student
• Receive your college welcome pack and meet college staff
• Opportunity to network with other new first year commuter students 
• Light refreshments will be provided

We understand that starting university as a commuter student can be daunting, this welcome event is intended to provide an overview and an opportunity to familiarise yourself with your college, explore campus before Welcome Week and meet other students in the same position who you can share your university journey with. Students from all eight of the undergraduate colleges are invited to attend.
