Come along our next ECOWild Session where we’ll be wildflower plug planting and himalayan balsam bashing. This invasive, non native weed shades out other vegetation, gradually impoverishing habitats by killing off other plants.  

We’ll be removing the species by pulling or cutting the plants before they flower and set seed. This will help other species to thrive and to maximise biodiversity here on campus.  

We will then have an al-fresco tea break outside in the sun after our hard work – and lots of biscuits!
