Approaching academic reading (Masters' students)
Event box
This course is made up of three workshops (one each week in weeks 2-4), each addressing a different aspect of studying in English. It is likely to be most useful for students at the start of their studies at Lancaster. The workshops cover the following topics:
- Getting the most out of lectures (week 2)
- Approaching academic reading (week 3)
- Participating in seminar and group discussions (week 4)
They provide the space to share experiences, explore challenges and get some practical suggestions as you develop study practices that you will then build on as the academic year progresses.
This registration link is for masters' students. If you are an undergraduate, please check the other times.
