Canon Michael Docherty, the Catholic Chaplain, hosts a wide variety of spiritual events for staff and students at Lancaster University.  Holy Mass is celebrated each day during term time with the chapel open throughout the day for personal prayer.  All are welcome to these celebrations.  Members of other Christian traditions and other faith groups are welcome to receive a blessing during Mass, rather than receive Holy Communion which is reserved for Catholics who have made their First Holy Communion.
