As an important part of this recruitment process, for each candidate shortlisted for interview, we are scheduling a 40 minute engagement session with School representatives – this to be led by Allison as Associate Dean for Education and Ram as Deputy Dean, who will collate feedback for presentation to the interview panel.  The candidates will be asked to start the session with a brief presentation. 

For this Head of School role, it is likely that five candidates will be shortlisted for interview and we will be able to accommodate approximately 12 colleagues from the newly formed School to be involved in the Engagement session – we are also in the process of separately inviting some student reps. 

For this post, the School Engagement session is likely to occur between 9.15 – 14.30 on the interview day.  Please note that attendance would be needed for the whole session in order to ensure parity of candidate experience. 

Can we particularly encourage our PS colleagues to express an interest in attending? – your input is valued and can be more focused on generic issues of leadership skills etc., rather than being linked to a specific School and/or discipline.   

Whilst there will be a break for lunch, I’m afraid lunch etc. cannot be provided for colleagues due to current financial constraints.
