Description:

Training and Development is a customised version of Moodle used to host online training courses rather than academic content. This 60-minute session will explore the key considerations you should take when developing an online training course, including how to develop engaging learning materials and activities, work with purchased materials, monitor progress through the course, and report on completion.

This session is online.

Outcomes:

At the end of this session, you will be able to:

Request a new training course. Understand the fundamentals of using Moodle. Create engaging course materials to enhance learning. Monitor student progress and report on course completion. Suitable For:

This session is suitable for anyone who needs to create an online training course for staff or students at the university. If you're new to using Moodle, we recommend taking the Introduction to Moodle (for Staff) online course for a general overview before attending.

What Next?

After attending, we recommend those creating their own course materials should take the Creating Interactive Learning Materials with Xerte and Video Production online courses.
