Public Engagement Network: All about The Lancaster District Community Dialogue Project (and community conversation tools)
Event box
The Lancaster District Community Dialogue Project was a collaborative community engagement project which brought together anchor organisations from across the Lancaster and Morecambe District. Through the project we’ve created a flexible toolkit that can support better, more engaging conversations with communities, gain a deeper understanding of our community's needs, and create positive change through informed place-based policymaking. The tools were created by using a variety of methods including research based on previous community conversations, collaborative toolkit development sessions, and community engagement conversations.
If you’re interested to find out more about the project, the toolkit and our learning along the way as we navigated working collaboratively and co-creating with partners and the community - come along to this PE Network session! This session will be delivered by Abi Lucy-Lloyd, Engagement Manager, and Bethan Marriott, Engagement and Events Officer, both from the Stakeholder Relations Team in Research and Enterprise Services (RES).
Please register for the event so we can keep track of numbers, and please cancel if you can no longer attend.
The Public Engagement Network brings together staff from across the University to share good practice, and support each other. Its members share training and development opportunities, including resources and news, with the aim of building connections, learning from each other and promoting public engagement with research.
Whether you are a researcher, academic, or member of professional services staff, the network is for everyone at any stage of their career, no matter your experience with public engagement.
How to join the Network
Staff can join the network on Teams and start connecting with colleagues straight away. Make sure to turn on notifications to hear about future opportunities, including training and development, opportunities to take part in events, news and collaborations.
