Learning Disability Week 16th - 22nd June 2025
Learning Disability week is an annual event on the 3rd week of June. The theme this year is "Do you see me?" People with Learning Disabilities deserve to be seen, heard and valued and there will be a guide, resource list and book display to showcase Learning Disability Week.
The guide has been created in collaboration with Beaumont College in Lancaster where the opinions of students at Beaumont College Lancaster have been expressed on some of the themes. The themes for each day are:
Monday 16th June - Myth busting
Tuesday 17th June - Giving Tuesday
Wednesday 18th June - Benefits
Thursday 19th June - Work
Friday 20th June - Health
Saturday 21st June - Inclusion
Sunday 22nd June - Highlights
