[Online] Assistive tools and technology
Event box
Join our short lunch and learn session to hear about some of the assistive technology that's available to staff at Lancaster Uni. This includes:
- Built-in functionality available within computers and browsers
- Assistive apps available through Apps Anywhere
- Some free apps and plugins to be aware of
The purpose of the tools vary, but they can help people who need some assistance with reading and writing, focusing on tasks and adjusting the content they are accessing to suit their preferences.
This session is online and run in a webinar style. It is suitable for staff who want to learn about different software available either for themselves or to support students.
