Public Engagement Network: MetaMosaics® taster workshop
Event box
A creative, participatory approach using mosaic tiles and seaglass to facilitate deep, inclusive conversations. Developed with Wellcome funding, this methodology has been used in policy, health, and environmental contexts, bringing stakeholders together from different perspectives to share ideas in an inclusive way, and we can experience it for free in this taster workshop. Explore a topic by building mosaics together, selecting pieces that represent different stories and perspectives in metaphorical ways. The technique encourages us to share and listen to each other’s perspectives, explore similarities and differences, connect ideas together and find new solutions.
Please register for the event so we can keep track of numbers, and please cancel if you can no longer attend.
The Public Engagement Network brings together staff from across the University to share good practice, and support each other. Its members share training and development opportunities, including resources and news, with the aim of building connections, learning from each other and promoting public engagement with research.
Whether you are a researcher, academic, or member of professional services staff, the network is for everyone at any stage of their career, no matter your experience with public engagement.
How to join the Network
Staff can join the network on Teams and start connecting with colleagues straight away. Make sure to turn on notifications to hear about future opportunities, including training and development, opportunities to take part in events, news and collaborations.
