This informal, peer-led session provides the opportunity to connect with other undergraduate students about your experiences and expectations of academic writing in English. We will look at some of the characteristics of academic writing (e.g. precision, accuracy, explicitness, hedging), thinking about how they can strengthen ideas and arguments and how you might apply them confidently in your own writing.
