By the end of this session, you will be able to: 

  • Identify the key sources of information in your discipline  

  • Recognise the difference between types and formats of information   

  • Consider how to use academic information effectively  

  • Identify the main gateways to finding academic information   

  • Familiarise yourself with academic vocabulary and terminology
