This workshop will give you the essential knowledge and confidence you need to use (Gen)AI appropriately. We will show you what (Gen)AI is, how it can be a powerful tool for your research, and what the key rules of academic integrity are so you can use it responsibly. 

By the end of this session, you will be able to: 

  • Define the basic principles of (Gen)AI and its use at University. 

  • Recognise the benefits and limitations of using (Gen)AI for your assignments. 

  • Apply the university's academic integrity policies to your use of (Gen)AI. 

  • Identify and avoid common issues related to plagiarism and (Gen)AI content.
