Come along, learn at your own pace and experience the balance tai chi can bring. Larry, an instructor known for warmth, humour, and care, blends tai chi’s martial roots with its therapeutic benefits. With a background in counselling and therapies, Larry offers sessions that highlight tai chi as both movement and medicine: safe, gentle, and accessible for all. Free to attend. 

What to bring & wear

Wear comfortable flat shoes, socks or bare feet

Comfortable clothing, though fitted items make it easier for the instructor to see your posture and stance

Traditionally, practitioners wear black, and avoid metal (belts, jewellery, watches)

Useful extras

Bring water or a health drink (no fizzy or energy drinks)

A small towel is useful for freshening up before any partner work
