What are LUMS Academic Presentations? This is a space where any student in LUMS can discuss and practise a presentation for their programme. You can come alone or with a group, and present to one of our trained postgraduate mentors.

This appointment takes place on campus in the West Pavilion (WP) B08 in the Management School building, at the time stated on your booking. Appointments are a maximum of 45 minutes.

If you are studying remotely, we also offer online appointments. Please request this in your booking link.

What do I need to do for my appointment? Once you have registered, please think about what type of help you would like from the mentor. Would you like to practice your presentation? Are there particular aspects of your presenting style that you would like to develop? Be prepared to share this information and guidance on the assignment with your mentor.

Please note, your mentor cannot help you with subject content. However, the mentors can:

• Comment and advise on whether you have met assignment guidance.
• Offer feedback on fluency and clarity.
• Constructively advise on aspects of your delivery, including timing, pace, volume etc.
• Make recommendations on any supporting materials
