FGH - Furness General Hospital

This route will also have additional stops for students in Years 3 (MLTC) and 4. It will drop off/pick up in Ulverston (The Kiosk) for St Mary’s Hospice and Hoad Medical Practice as well as Tudor Square in Dalton-In-Furness for Market Street Medical Practice.

After Furness General Hospital, it will stop at Kwik Fit in Barrow-In-Furness for Bridgegate Medical Centre and Norwood Medical Centre, followed by two stops Duke Street, for St Mary’s Hospice compassionate communities Hub and the newly located Abbey Road Surgery. Please make sure you inform the driver if you require these stops.

The return coach will drop off at Lancaster Bus Station, RLI, Bowerham Hotel, HIO (A6), Lancaster University and Galgate Police Station.

You must ensure that you arrive at your bus stop in plenty of time as the bus will not wait for you and will leave at the scheduled times. Unfortunately, if you miss the bus, you will need to make your own arrangements to get to your placement.

Student safety is our upmost priority and in the event of adverse weather, we will liaise with the coach company, the placements and the students to make a decision on whether a journey is cancelled.
