The outward coach will drop off outside Blackburn Hospital, followed by Casterton Avenue for students attending Burnley General Hospital.

For Year 3 Managing Long Term Conditions (MLTC) placements with primary care, please use the Blackburn Hospital drop off point for St. George’s Surgery, Haslingden Road, Blackburn.

The return coach will drop off at Galgate Police Station, Lancaster University, HIO (A6), Bowerham Hotel, RLI, Lancaster Bus Station.

You must inform the driver of your drop-off location. The schedule for this route is as follows:

You must ensure that you arrive at your bus stop in plenty of time as the bus will not wait for you and will leave at the scheduled times. Unfortunately, if you miss the bus, you will need to make your own arrangements to get to your placement.

Student safety is our upmost priority and in the event of adverse weather, we will liaise with the coach company, the placements and the students to make a decision on whether a journey is cancelled.
