This practical, expert-led workshop offers a more proactive approach, helping you take control of your career direction.

Designed specifically for research-only staff, the session provides structured space to reflect on your personal and professional goals, values, and priorities. You’ll explore what a meaningful and rewarding career looks like for you, consider how your skills translate into a wide range of roles, and gain insight into the variety of opportunities available within and beyond academia. Develop a personalised framework to assess employers and organisational cultures, ensuring alignment with your values and aspirations and create a focused career action plan to help you move forward strategically and confidently. You’ll also connect with fellow researchers, gaining fresh perspectives, ideas and peer support to inform your next steps.
