SUMMARY:What are employers really looking for? Interviewing for jobs inside and outside of academia
DESCRIPTION:There are many different formats for job interviews and knowing 
 what to expect can make a significant difference to your performance and 
 confidence. This practical workshop will help you understand how interviews 
 might vary across different types of organisation\, how to prepare 
 effectively\, and how to communicate your strengths\, skills\, and 
 experience with impact. In a small group an employer will take you through 
 some typical questions asked in interviews\, providing an opportunity to 
 rehearse responses. You will gain a valuable chance to gain insights into 
 what recruiters are really looking for and build confidence in a realistic 
 but supportive environment. It’s also a great way to expand your 
 professional networks and increase your awareness of different career 
 paths.\n\nGain experience answering a range of interview questions\, 
 including competency and strengths-based formats\, and develop practical 
 strategies to manage interview nerves and perform at your best.\n\nThis 
 event is one of four workshops to be held over two days. You need to 
 register for each session and are encouraged to sign up for the four
