Free workshop and lunch – requires registration

Emre Sarikaya is a Lancaster-based woman refugee artist from Turkey who will be teaching participants about the amazing UNESCO World Heritage recognised Ebru art work. This traditional art form involves creating colourful marbling patterns on paper by sprinkling and brushing colour pigments with oily water onto paper. Each participant will have a chance to make their own artwork. Places are limited so please book soon using the link.

The workshop will include lunch and Emre will be bringing some special home-made baklava, which is a traditional Turkish sweet and contains nuts. The event is open to all LU staff and students.
